Introduction
Welcome to the Department of Physics, Hazara University Mansehra! Established in 2003, our departmental mission is to be highly recognized community of scholars that contributes to the field by exploring cutting-edge of science and technology. The department is committed to excellence in teaching and research by providing outstanding opportunities for educational and outreach activities. Following the vision of HU, the department strives to contribute in academic training as well as professional growth of students to reach their best potential by promoting culture of learning in a highly collaborative working environment. The department offers BS (Hons) and exciting research MPhil and Ph.D. programs both in theoretical and experimental physics with well equipped teaching/research laboratories. We offer diverse research programs from pure to applied Physics including Condensed Matter Physics, Nanoscience, Laser Physics, Computational Physics, Plasma Physics, Materials Science and theoretical Physics (Quantum Optics) equipped with computational, theoretical, Optics and Nanoscience laboratories. We have a thriving departmental faculty with an international exposure actively involved in research areas across the full spectrum of discipline. Our research and academic contributions have been recognized internationally and includes recipients of Young Scientist Award by Council of Nobel Laureates Meeting, Germany and ICO/ICTP Gallieno Award....
