Introduction
Department of mathematics established in 2002. The department started its M.Sc (two years) program in spring 2005, BS (4 years) in fall 2009, MS/M.Phil. (Two years) in spring 2009, and Ph.D. (three years) in fall 2011. This year in 35th syndicate meeting held on July 28, 2017, the competent authority has approved the merging of the Department of Statistics and Department of Mathematics as a Department of Mathematics & Statistics w.e.f fall 2017....
Vision
Mathematics plays a vital rule in the development of students to develop scientific, Industrial and economic approach towards leadership, through learner-centered teaching and research, while strengthening their identity at Regional, National and International level.
