Introduction

The Department of Education (DE) was among the first four departments founded with the establishment of the university in 2002. The Department is currently among the top departments with regard to faculty, students and programs. It falls under the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. Initially two programs B.A. (Hons) Education and B.Ed. one-year were started. The B.Ed (Hons) program is accredited by the NACTE (National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education). Presently the Department is engaged in teaching B.Ed (Hons), M.Phil (Education) and PhD (Education) programmes....

Dr. Muhammad Ilyas Khan did his Ph.D. in Education at the UNIVERSITY OF LEICESTER, the UK in 2012 where he studied during 2008-2012. He has been working as an Associate Professor and has been involved in research supervision at the Department of Educ.

Dr. Sadaf Naz, Assistant Professor, has been teaching at the Department of Education, Hazara University, since 2006. Dr. Naz is Gold Medalist. She did her Ph.D. in Education with a specialization in Educational Psychology at Hazara University, Pakist.
