Welcome! The Faculty of Law and Social Sciences is one of the prominent faculties at the Hazara University. The Faculty offers various degree programmes in more than 10 disciplines including Political Science, Management Science, Law, Public Administration, Sociology, Psychology, and Islamic & Religious Studies. Teaching through Research is the focus of our learning strategy in this Faculty.
Students are trained through self-learning concept so they can have a lifelong learning capability. Our faculty members and other staff have a common objective to provide high quality education in a conducive environment. I am sure that you will receive an excellent education in this Faculty, therefore, I congratulate you for getting admission here. In the recent past, the Faculty has expanded both in terms of disciplines and degree programmes. Students are encouraged to take part in the extra-curricular activities as part of the character building. Our strong alumni is always available for advice and guidance of our students.
R&D activities is one of the major functions at the Faculty where the faculty members and other scholars of the Faculty obtained a good number of funded projects in last couple of years. In addition to the brilliant research outcome, the Faculty also publishes a biannual research journal, recognized by HEC in “y” category entitled “Hazara Islamicus”.
