Dr. Mushtaq Ali
Biography

Dr. Mushtaq Ali is Associate Professor of Computer Science at Hazara University, Mansehra. He received the MSc (Computer Science) degree from Gomal University, Pakistan, and the MS (Computer Science) degree from COMSATS University, Pakistan, in 2001 and 2007, respectively. He got PhD (Computer Science) degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2015. He has published 30+ research papers in W-category journals. He has supervised the thesis of 3 PhD and 20+ MS scholars. Recently, his startup proposal is accepted for funding by the Directorate of Science and Technology, Peshawar, KPK. He worked as CO-PI in the NRPU Project. Currently, he is working as Chairman, Department of Computer Science & Information Technology, Hazara University Mansehra. He is the Focal Person of National Computing Education Accreditation Council, HEC, and KPIT Board. He is the member of NCEAC and evaluated the BS Computer Science program of COMSATS, Islamabad, Attock campus, and Institute of Space technology (IST), Islamabad. His research area includes digital image processing, content-based image retrieval system, computer vision, and machine learning.
