Dr. Bin Yamin Khan Biography

Dr. Bin Yamin Khan is a distinguished scholar and academician in the field of Communication & Media Studies. He completed his early education in Peshawar, Pakistan, and holds a Bachelor's degree (BA) from the esteemed University of Peshawar. Fuelled by his passion for journalism and media studies, Dr. Bin Yamin Khan achieved his MA in Journalism & Mass Communication from the prestigious Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST), earning a coveted gold medal for his outstanding academic performance. In 2011, he began his professional journey as a contract Lecturer at KUST's Department of Journalism & Mass Communication. Later, he became a permanent Lecturer at Hazara University Mansehra, where he pursued his MPhil in Communication & Media Studies, showcasing his dedication to both teaching and research. Dr. Bin Yamin Khan's academic brilliance was recognized nationally when he was awarded the prestigious HEC 90% overseas Scholarship for a Ph.D. program in France. He completed his M2 in Information & Communication Science in 2016 and successfully obtained his Ph.D. in 2020. Returning to Hazara University Mansehra in 2020, he continued to contribute significantly to academia. On the 6th of February 2023, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor, solidifying his position as an esteemed academic and a respected authority in his field. Dr. Bin Yamin Khan continues to inspire and enrich the lives of his students and colleagues through his passion for research, teaching, and unwavering commitment to academic excellence.
