Dr. Jafer Rahman Biography

Dr. Jafer Rahman is an Assistant Professor of Statistics at Hazara University. He got PhD degree in Statistics (2019) from Jiangxi University China, and M.Phil degree (2012) as well as MSc. degree (2010) from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He has been teaching different courses at undergraduate/graduate levels in various departments of Hazara University since October 2011 till date. He has also been doing research work and published multiple research papers in renowned international journals. His research interest inlcudes the areas Bayesian Analysis, Nonparametric Classification, Semiparametric Regression and Statistical Analysis. Dr. Jafer has supervised two M.Phil theses, and currently, two M.Phil students are enrolled under his supervision. He has also expertise and enough experience in statistical data analysis of data from numerous fields using computer softwares such as Minitab, R, and SPSS. Dr. Jafer has visited other countries like Thailand, China, Taiwan, and Saudi Arabia. He has attended many conferences/workshops as a participant/presenter held in Pakistan as well as abroad.
