Mr. Muhammad Mahroof Biography

Mr, Muhammad Mahroof is a distinguished scholar and educator who is deeply committed to advancing knowledge in the field of Islamic and Religious Studies. Since 2014, he has played a significant role in the Department of Islamic and Religious Studies at Hazara University. His extensive academic journey, sincerity, ethics, character, and expertise make him a valuable asset to our institution. Academic Achievements: Ph.D. in Islamic and Religious Studies, currently in progress at Hazara University. M.Phil in Islamic Studies, Hazara University (2018) M.A. in Islamic Studies, Hazara University (2012) "Dars Nizami" (Shahadat al-Alamiyyah, equivalent to M.A. in Arabic and Islamic Studies) from Wifaq al-Madaris al-Arabia Multan (2008) Research Contributions: Mr, Muhammad Mahroof has a notable research record, having published research articles in HEC-recognized and standard-based journals. His research covers a range of topics including Islamic studies, Qur'anic sciences, Hadith sciences, and contemporary religious and social issues. Professional Experience: Before joining Hazara University, Mr, Muhammad Mahroof served as a Lecturer in Islamic Studies at the renowned Jinnah Degree College in Mansehra from 2008 to 2014. Since 2014, he has been serving as a Lecturer in Islamic Studies at Hazara University. Additionally, he holds the positions of Coordinator for the "BS" program and Co-Patron of the Seerat Society in the department. Published Columns: He regularly writes columns under the title "Kuch Mere Qalam Se" (Some Thoughts from My Pen) in various newspapers, addressing societal issues and Islamic teachings. These columns and articles reflect his dedication to improving society. Research Interests: Mr, Muhammad Mahroof' research interests span various fields of Islamic studies, including Qur'anic and Hadith sciences, Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh, Sociology of Religion, Seerah, and Philosophy.
