“Introduction”
To relieve academic pressures, sports have become an integral part of the extracurricular activities at Hazara University Manshera The campus offers the facilities to play league tournaments of cricket, football, basketball, volleyball and table tennis. Campus has constructed state of the art cricket ground according to international standards to encourage and promote young talented cricketers. Apart from the activities inside campus, student actively takes an active part in the tournaments that are held outside campus and sports fixtures with other academic universities / colleges and national cricket clubs.
Sports week is held during each semester where students from all the departments participate in different sports. Cricket league tournament is a prime attraction of the sports week where multiple teams from different departments compete to clinch the top slot. Basketball, ChouckBall, Judo, Volleyball, Football and Table Tennis tournaments inculcate the sense of healthy competition and sportsman spirit among the students.
