Dr. Isfahan Tauseef is one of the pioneer faculty members of the Microbiology department with a distinguished academic and research career. He holds an MPhil in Microbiology (2004-2006) from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, and earned his PhD (2008-2012) from the University of Leicester, UK. His Doctoral thesis research on bacterial phase variation and immune modulation advanced insights into host-pathogen interactions, immune evasion mechanisms and vaccine development. Currently, his research interests span host-pathogen interactions, microbial bioproduct development, and gut microbiome-based health interventions.
