The Department of Urdu at Hazara University was established in *October 2010*. Initially, the department started with *MPhil and PhD programs*. In *2012*, an *MA program* was introduced, followed by the launch of a *Bachelor's program* in *Fall 2018*.

Established in October 2010, the Department of Urdu at Hazara University has grown to offer Bachelor's, MPhil, and PhD programs, fostering a rich academic environment for the study of Urdu.
