<p>Dr. Asif Iqbal is an Assistant Professor of Agronomy at Hazara University, Mansehra, Pakistan. He holds a Ph.D. in Crop Cultivation and Farming Systems (Agronomy) and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Crop Nutritional Physiology at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), China. His research focuses on crop stress physiology, nutrient management, intercropping systems, and sustainable crop production, with particular emphasis on plant adaptation to nutrient and environmental stresses.</p><p>Dr. Iqbal has led and contributed to several national and international research projects on crop nutrition, stress tolerance, and soil fertility management. His work integrates physiological, molecular, transcriptomic, and metabolomic approaches to improve nutrient-use efficiency and crop resilience. He has published more than 70 peer-reviewed articles in leading international journals and has authored several book chapters with Springer and Taylor & Francis.
