Program Introduction

PhD.(Urdu) program was launched in the session Fall-2010.1st batch of     PhD.(Urdu) program was consisted upon 04-students.Later on more students got admission in this program.This program is consisting upon 06-semesters.All the students will have to study 06-courses completing

18-Credit hours within 1-year as Course Work. The Research workcomprises  36-Credit Hours.Three Scholars have been passed out uptill now,while Fourteen Scholars are in Course Work  and Thirty Eight students are in Research Work  under this program.

This program was Lannched with the objective of introducing advance level of learning in the field of Urdu language and literature and to explore various hidden aspects of Urdu literature through research activities

M.Phil(Urdu) at least 3-CGPA
